  5.   The enclosed diskette includes the LIST and QDR programs, and many others.
  6.   To see how LIST works, place this disk in drive A and type this at the DOS
  7.   prompt:

  12.   To get a printed  copy of the LIST  documentation, ready your printer, and
  13.   then enter the DOS command:
  14.  
  15.              PRINT LIST.DOC
  16.  
  17.   The LIST manual is about 44  pages long.  You can print the  documentation
  18.   for the other programs in the same way.  Each program has a .DOC file that
  19.   can be PRINTed.

  21.   Some programs are kept in archive (.ARC) files.  To extract the individual
  22.   files, use the ARCE program.  For example, the command
  23.  
  24.                 ARCE  LDIR41
  25.  
  26.   will extract LDIR41.ASM, LDIR41.DOC  and LDIR41.COM from the  archive file
  27.   LDIR41.ARC on to the current disk drive.  Be sure to have enough free disk
  28.   space on the current drive.  You can also extract the ARC files to another
  29.   drive.  For example:

  31.                 ARCE LDIR41 B:

  33.   will extract the LDIR files and put them on to the disk in drive B.

  38.   are  free.   These  are  not  commercial  programs that you buy.  They are
